Technical Sales Executive (Position Filled)

Location: North West, UK

Salary: Competitive, with a company car, pension contribution of 10% and BUPA cover

Our retained client requires a Technical Sales Executive who will be responsible for developing business in the Personal Care and Cosmetics industry through winning new business and effectively managing key accounts.

We require a 360 degree sales person who has the drive and determination to to identify, approach and close new business however, at the same time, has the patience and attention to detail required to know “when to close” and when a longer sales cycle is necessary.

In addition, as well as having a strong commercial understanding, we require an individual who has at least 5 years’ experience in a technical environment within the Personal Care and/or Cosmetics industry, with a chemistry qualification.

Our Client have a brand new range of market leading products and have a clear strategy to win and develop “long term” accounts within the UK marketplace. With this in mind, we require a strategic thinker who has a thorough understanding of the customer base, current European legislation and market trends.

We feel the most appropriate candidates will have a strong technical background, with a commercial focus. Perhaps a history of studying chemistry, working in a Lab environment, delivering technical support and visiting customers within the aforementioned industries, and preferably have some sales experience although, providing the right personality and behaviours are present, sales experience is not the most critical aspect.
