Sales Director North America

GrassGreener Ingredients™ are currently working together with a global manufacturer of speciality food ingredients, developing sustainable ingredient solutions for the food, beverage and nutrition markets.

We are currently sourcing a Regional Sales Director to take full responsibility for a North American sales team. This role has overall responsibility for development of our client’s regional sales strategy, to successfully achieve growth and drive profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the North America sales strategy in alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • Develop the North America sales budget.
  • Build a balanced sales pipeline that successfully achieves growth targets and delivers increased profitability.
  • Lead regional sales team (Currently 5 Regional Sales Managers)
  • Prepare, budget, and monitor sales department.
  • Report to VP Americas

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in food science/chemistry/biology (or similar field)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the food ingredients industry
  • Successful sales record with the ability to meet and exceed KPIs
  • Experience/relationships with global customers
  • Ability to provide leadership and guidance to senior sales team.
  • Willing/open to travel up to 50% of time.
