Account Manager UK 

Salary: Up to £45,000 + bonus/commission + benefits

The Company
Our client is a world class manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals with a global operations network in Europe, North America and Asia.

Job Role
As part of the businesses growth strategy they are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join the existing UK team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with current customers as well as prospecting new potential accounts.
  • Visit new and existing customers on a regular basis to build, maintain and manage relationships (50%+ travelling).
  • Support the business development activities by working closely with the sales team, UK and Worldwide.

Requirements:

  • Relevant work knowledge in the specialty chemicals industry, preferably with experience of sales in products relating to Personal Care, Industrial Water Treatment and Metal Working Fluids.
  • Ideally qualified to a Degree level in Chemistry or related subject.
  • Broad network within the specialty chemicals industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and profitability.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and business skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a variety of sales, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Highly organized self-starter capable of managing customer visits schedule and territory effectively.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Comfortable to work from home.
